044 – All My Children

Well kids, this is the last question of the year. Benjamin Goldstein asks... Benjamin Goldstein: How do you have sooo many kids? I honestly don’t know. When I started this comic back in 2022, I didn’t think anyone would read it. It’s a stupid idea, y’know? Would anyone even get what I was trying to do? Would I get a couple of gag questions, and that would be it? But I got questions. Enough that I wanted to do it properly. You deserve my best. At the end of 2023, I had 63 readers. Some from the start, some from the reboot that spring. And then something happened. Suddenly there were 500 of you. A thousand. Two thousand. More readers than I have ever had for anything I’ve ever done. And I’ve been doing this for eighteen years. Eighteen years of never really knowing if there’s anyone out there. And now, here you are. 3200 of you. Imagine that. Three-thousand people. A staggering amount. I don’t know why there’s so many of you, but I’m thankful for every single one. I think about you, often. I want to do so much better by you. You deserve the best. If you, for whatever reason, need a dad that answers your questions without judgment... ...then I hope I can be that dad for you. I hope you’ll stick around, even if it takes forever.  So here's to a 2026 full of answers. Here's to a year of love, clarity and empathy. I love you, kiddo. With my whole heart. See you next year!
