020 – Pet Rating

A closed front door. The name sign says Dad. Dad's partner opens. Oh, it's you. Dad's partner: Come on in. They're in the bath. Oh, hello! It’s question time, isn’t it? Don’t mind me, I just thought I’d try that Self Care I’ve heard so much about. Some days you gotta take it easy, even when you’re being responsible. Speaking of... here’s our question for today! Sunny asks: I have a dad question! I've never had a pet before, but I'm usually busy and I'm bad with plants. Should I get a fish or something easy? Are there easy pets? Or like... a pet rock? What counts as an easy pet depends a lot on what you’re comfortable doing, and how ambitious you want to be. Caring for a cat and caring for a fish can be equally challenging, depending on the cat or fish.  Since I answered a pet care question not that long ago, I’m going to do something a little different this time...  Episode 20: Ultimate Pet Rating I’ve had a lot of different pets over the years and since I can only give you advice based on my personal experience...
