Non-Binary and Bisexual

When I wrote this, I hadn't even begun to scratch the surface of all my feelings on gender and sexuality and the sort of meaningless overlap and overfixation we've landed in with regards to that. There's a chance I've written thousands of words on the subject by the time you, dear reader, reads this.

First page of a comic in black, white, pale green and purple. The author introduces themselves as a non-binary bisexual, and explains the problems such an outlier of a person can face.

Second page. The author explains that they've always felt gender was a performance, and that things like makeup and clothing can allow a person to glide along the gender spectrum as they please.

Third page. The author reveals that when they saw other people talking about being non-binary, that put a word to how they've felt their whole life. They also explain that they knew they were bisexual from a very young age, when they had a crush on Madeline Kahn and Gene Wilder. That bisexuality is intimately linked to them being non-binary.

Fourth page. If they can be attracted to masculine and feminine features, spread across the whole gender spectrum, then gender itself feels irrelevant. If they can feel it, maybe they can be it?

Fifth page. Wrapping up. Gender and sexuality means many different things to many different people, and you have to discover your own in your own time. In the meantime, the ghost sheet goes back into the closet where it belongs.
